Cover Art

I’m planning to launch a track at the end of January, and one of the important aspects that is not music-related is the cover art for the track.

Given my poor drawing and limited design skills, I’ve been thinking about how to approach such a relevant issue. I want it to be creative, to look professional, and also to work as a piece of art by itself that communicates with the underlying track.

I came to a simple solution: using different AI tools to create images and then, with an editing app—Procreate in my case—mashing everything together and creating a collage that looks funky and funny but also professional.

It’s not perfect, but it works. You’ll see the end result with the track release.

This is just one strategy, and my plan is to develop new ones within the next few weeks, but for the moment, it checks all my boxes and is easy to replicate.

I’ll keep you updated.

Cheers from the music trenches,

Casuela.
